Alice Irvan, PRC, APR, President
Alice Irvan has more than 20 years experience in marketing, research, advertising and public relations. With her background in multiple aspects of marketing and communication, Alice brings a unique perspective to research. She understands how to customize each project for the needs of the individual client.
In 2003, she founded AIRvan Consulting to focus on research for public relations, marketing, advertising, and communications.
Alice holds the prestigious PRC (Professional Researcher Certification) designation from the Marketing Research Association as well as the APR (Accredited Public Relations) credential from the Public Relations Society of America. These credentials show a committment to the highest professional stadards as well as continuing education and training in current best practices and new techniques.
During her 12 years at Ameritech (now AT&T), she held management positions in market research, product management, advertising, public relations, strategic planning and marketing management. Later, she served as Director of Client Services at Walker Information (formerly Walker Research), managing large research projects for a variety of companies including leaders in the large engine, greeting card and eyewear industry. During her career, she also served as the Marketing and Communications Director for the Indianapolis Museum of Art, one of the largest general art museums in the nation, for almost four years.
Prior to founding AIRvan Consulting, she was Vice President of Client Services for The Loyalty Research Center where she managed the staff of project directors as well as directed large and small projects for clients in a variety of industries including financial services, credit, Internet services, manufacturing, travel, entertainment, insurance and other industries.
Alice holds an MA degree in public relations from Ball State University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is also an experienced focus group moderator with training from Burke and RIVA. She has held numerous leadership positions within PRSA, IABC, MRA, and AMA. A frequent speaker and workshop presenter, she has taught research courses in the graduate public relations progam at Ball State University as well as undergraduate public speaking courses at several community colleges.
