Research to develop a lobbying and communications program involving a potentially controversial agribusiness issue
An agribusiness organization needed information to guide its lobbying and communications program for an issue that was becoming controversial. The leadership wanted to know: Do opinions on this issue vary by geographic area? How influential are opponents? How strong is the support for our position? What messages resonate with supporters?
AIRvan Consulting developed a telephone survey that included respondents from all geographic areas affected. Results showed areas in which support and opposition were strongest and provided feedback on which messages would be more effective in the lobbying and communication program. Our team conducted a workshop session with organization leaders to develop overall communication strategies.
