Research to develop a member and donor segmentation for a major association for communications programs A major national association of college students and alumni needed a detailed segmentation for its members and donors. AIRvan Consulting used in-depth interviews during the first phase of the project to identify issues and motivations for joining and donating. A quantitative phase involved telephone and web-based surveys. Results indicated distinct segments and key messages that would resonate with each segment.
